@luisbroobe want to chime in ?
Give authors and editors the freedom to take their content back to their familiar authoring tool.
Add an .DOCX export target in addition to .EPUB, .PDF, .ICML.
Same as any other export target, but has a dropdown to chose between .docx or .odt. The name of the export target could be: .DOCX
Should we add another container or refactor the one that contains Pandoc ?
Maybe we should also add another export target with .ODT as an option.
@adam following what you said, I think you may be right. I imagine the following possible outcomes, out of this two alternatives.
Place Holder / WIP ISSUE
Authors & Small publishers use a single .docx file for the whole book.
Use something like https://github.com/midorikocak/docsplitter to split the docx at H1 / chapter level and feed that to xsweet.
[Include sketch or wireframes of the UI changes necessary for this feature]
[A description of the steps to implement the feature.]
[Include any alternatives to meet this use case.]
[Links to and a discussion of related issues, if applicable.]
How are we doing with the PR ? Was it pushed by Luis?
