Feature proposal: Better spacing for ellipses
From UC Press
Formatting for ellipses needs to be adjusted, both in Wax and in PagedJS output. See this example from Chicago Manual of Style, with my comments in bold, square brackets:
The spirit of our American radicalism is destructive and aimless. . . . [<-- ellipses following a terminal period] On the other side, the conservative party . . . [<-- ellipses: spacing before, within, and after is equal] is timid, and merely defensive of property. . . . It does not build, nor write, nor cherish the arts, nor foster religion, nor establish schools.
It may not seem like that big a deal, but when the spacing is off, copy editors and authors are unsure whether the ellipsis character is correct and whether they should use it.
