Chromium support for MathML and implications for Wax/XSweet

Chrome's behind Safari and Firefox on this, where it already works: https://caniuse.com/?search=mathml ; Edge uses Chromium internally, and so an update to Chromium would bring the (desktop) numbers way up. I don't know how long it will take Chromium changes to make it into Edge and Chrome in the wild; I suspect this is still some time out.
This would need to be integrated with both Wax and XSweet, I think. I don't think it's something to count on, but it's something to keep an eye on. And the other place where this comes into play is PagedJS, which is using Chromium inside of Puppeteer to make PDFs.
But the argument for this would be that it makes things simpler: there would be less translations going on if things just were always MathML and less chance for things to get lost because there's a single source of truth.
