App crashes when creating a new user with same data as an existing user
Expected behaviour
User should be notified for the reason why the new user can't be created, similarly to when adding a new user that has the same username as an existing one (as in the picture below):
Current behaviour
App crashes when I try to create a new user:
- that has the same Given Name and Surname as an existing user, but emails and usernames are different.
- that has the same Email as an existing user, but username and given name/surname are different.
Steps to reproduce
- In the login page, click Register
- Create a user that has the same name (both given name and last name) or email as another user that already exists.
QA steps to make sure this is done
- In the login page, click Register
- Create a user that has the same name (both given name and last name) or email as another user that already exists.
- Notice that instead of the app crashing when you enter non-unique details, you get a warning message, and can register with different (unique) information
