Progress Review Agenda 1 June
For our call today:
Completed dev and focus for this cycle
- Since our last review meet our team has completed these dev items: closed issues for release 7 June
- These additional issues must be completed before the next release to NCBI: open issues for release 7 June.
- The 7 June release will include testing of:
- the amendments to the Word workflow (the separation of Upload and Conversion steps)
- XML processing (both kinds of books) from the UI up to point of Previewing
- XML processing (both kinds of books) from FTP submissions (error free) up to point of Previewing
- PDF processing (both kinds of books) from the UI up to point of sending for Tagging (i.e. the status will change to tagging but nothing will happen on the backend since #404 (closed) is outstanding).
- In addition to the items for release on 7 June, this cycle will include:
- Search and filter (#494 (closed)) which we have limited to the simplest implementation for Phase 1, including the agreed fields
title
andBCMS ID
as per #478 (closed). Note that we have prioritised this over Invite Org admin (#235 (closed)) - #495 (closed): This change is required before testing can continue on books that support multiple published versions
- Search and filter (#494 (closed)) which we have limited to the simplest implementation for Phase 1, including the agreed fields
- In the second week of this cycle we had aimed to start on #404 (closed) in conjunction with PDF submissions via FTP (#183) but this has to be pushed out until #497 (closed) is resolved. There are other issues I can finalise for development to replace this.
Other open items
- We've responded to #493 (closed) with a workaround suggestion
- @John.kopanas and I have reviewed #481 (closed) and I'll post questions there by the end of today
- I'm also in the process of writing up the issues from our phase 1 mitigation discussions on TOCs and domain templates
