Organisation page (admin) design
Hi @lathrops1
You gave this feedback in #37 (closed).
- To me, edit button placement is weird. I can’t tell if it means edit above or edit below. I intuitively kept selecting the user and hitting edit
- It’s very unclear that the search at the top of an organization page is related to helping you find a user on that page. I think that if this search is to be within a single organization’s users it should be located closer to the user list to make it more intuitive.
- I’m also not sure the first column should be the given name and that is what should be hyperlinked.
- Editing team roles and other user information is not intuitive – how make it clearer? And who has permissions to do so – sometimes I can by double clicking user name, other times not (only if you accept the user?).
I chatted to the team and we agree with point 1 and 2, however our discussion about the need to set default organisation settings (#40 (closed) ) affects the design of organisation page so we need to consider this before implementing these changes.
I'll discuss point 3 and 4 with Henrik. We think this behaviour will be more intuitive: clicking anywhere on the row open the relevant page or modal.
