Book and Collection metadata templates and default settings for the organisation
These features came from the feedback in #40 (closed). We agreed that the organisation page would be separated from the organisation's users (i.e. one page for org data and one page for org's users) in #50 (closed).
Default book settings and collection settings
Some settings will always be the same for an organisation, so there needs to be a way to set defaults for the organisation, so that these settings don't need to be selected for each book or collection, however the org should be able to change these default settings for a particular book or collection.
Default metadata fields for books and collections
Some metadata fields will always be the same for an organisation, so there should be a way to set these once for all the books and collections for that organisation, so that these fields are always pre-populated, but editable if required. Examples of these fields include publisher name
, publisher url
.
In both cases above, I would consider these as organisational settings and so it would make sense to apply these defaults on the admin page for the organisation.
Organisation page
What's shown here is a rough idea of the additional sections on the Organisation page. We'll develop these sections after the requirements have been finalised (i.e. once we've developed the publishing settings and metadata workflows for books and collections)
