Missing src attribute on img tags results in infinite loading
To reproduce, try to pass the following HTML to the pagedjs cli:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<title>img without src</title>
</head>
<body>
<main>
<img alt="">
</main>
</body>
</html>
If you add a src
attribute (can be empty), page generation will work flawlessly. Granted, img
tags without a src
attribute are illegal. However, maybe this could result in a warning instead.
