Chrome doesn't spellcheck entire chapter by itself
Currently in Chrome, when the spellchecking feature is turned on, it will only apply red underlining to blocks (paragraphs) of text that have been selected with the active cursor at least once.
To see what I mean:
- Make sure Chrome's spellcheck is on, and open a chapter with content in it. It starts with no red underlining.
- Click into a paragraph with a misspelled word. Any misspelled words will get the red underlining.
- Move to another paragraph with misspellings. Misspelled words get underlined, and the underlining from the first paragraph stays. Now the spellchecker is working for 2 paragraphs
and so on.
Select-all doesn't apply spell-checking to an entire chapter. The only workaround I saw is to put the cursor at the top and hold the down arrow key to scroll through the whole chapter.
The new Wax built with prose mirror should allow Chrome to spellcheck the entire chapter without intervention.
