Set up tagging FTP and post-tagging XML conversion triggers
In the system, the following needs to happen:
-
When manuscript status is set to 'tagging', a generated package must be sent to the tagger FTP ( server/ftp-integration
). We can set this off as part of the 'submit' function in the ManuscriptManager -
When the taggers have delivered a package to the FTP all the files must be ingested ( server/ftp-integration
) -
Once the XML has been ingested it must be validated and converted ( server/xml-validation
) and the resulting files loaded to the file system and database. If there are errors, they should go as a string inmanuscript.formState
in the database and themanuscript.status
should be set to 'xml-triage'. -
The converted file (".nxml") and certain other files need to be sent out for PDF conversion ( server/pdf-conversion
) -
When the PDF is returned it needs to be loaded to the file system and database. The manuscript.status
should then be set to 'xml-qa'. If there are errors, they should go as a string inmanuscript.formState
in the database and themanuscript.status
should be set to 'xml-triage'.
