Storybook review 26 May
Hi @csikari @vargasc @conneelyb
Here are the notes for our Storybook demo later today:
Discover Page
Items in progress:
-
The question rows data should display: topic, subtopic, question type, boom's level, published date -
The question type dropdown should include: fill in the blank, essay, matching, multiple dropdowns
Items to clarify:
-
Text changes to the subheadings in the form (as in attached images): - AP Biology: College Board Framework
- AP Environmental Science: College Board Framework
- IB Biology: Curriculum
- IB Environmental Science: Curriculum
- Vision and Change Framework
- AAMC Future Physicians Framework
-
"Sort by" functionality (only pub date seems relevant) -- agreed -
For each course, which dropdown option is the "learning objective" that should be used as the question 'title'. Is it possible to have the author provide a meaningful title or a question description to display instead of the learning objective? This would resolve the design issue.

Items to clarify:
1. Multiple topics (and courses in the future)
Relevant issues #17 (closed); #18 (closed), #25 (closed).
Before we go ahead with any changes to how adding topics works, review the future functionality in #18 (closed). Ultimately, is the desired outcome as below?
- Author can add ONE course and up to TWO topics (with related course metadata)
- Editor, after question is submitted, can add ALL courses and provided the related course metadata for whichever topics the author chose.
2. Adding Biointeractive resources
We've made this a multi-select so that users can add as many resources as they like. If the user has a selected topic, then she'll see only resources for that topic, if not, then she'll see all resources.
We'd need to update the database of resources when more are added (manually or we could fetch from HHMI)
