Navigation bar highlighting
Context
Part of the current roadmap is to "highlight the currently selected page on the navigation bar".
This poses a problem in its current state, as we have pages that don't have a corresponding entry on the navigation bar (eg. book builder, wax). The end effect of this would be that you get a highlighted entry on some pages, but no entry in others, which in IMO won't be very good.
Proposal
We can have a breadcrumb-style navigation on the top left of the navigation bar.
The different scenarios would like this:
When you are on the dashboard
Books
When you navigate to the book buiilder
Books > My amazing book title
When you go to the editor
Books > My amazing book title > Chapter 1: The basics
The user can have a good overview of where they are when they're working on a book. Each part would be clickable, so the user could navigate back. This also removes the need to show the title of the book in wax for context, or having that "Back to book" button appear out of nowhere only when you're in wax.
The rest of the urls (global team manager, templates manager, user profile) can go under the dropdown that we're introducing on the right side of the navigation bar.
Alternatives
A variation of this would be that instead of hiding urls under the dropdown, we could pull the ones that don't fit into this (eg. templates) to the right side of the bar.
Another alternative would be to leave it all as is, but to also not do highlighting of pages in the bar at all.
