Settings from custom collection template are inherited to books not part of the collection
Derived from the comments of [!760 (comment 80798)]
Steps to reproduce:
- Created a new organization like this one here which doesn't have any custom collection template
- Created Book one, which inherits the default settings, since the organization it is part of doesn't have custom template.
- Created the
Collection 24
and a custom template for chapter-processed books. - Created a new book
Book two
which doesn't belong to the collection, on the second step you can see that the settings are not the default ones from the organization but the settings from the custom template of theCollection 24
. Even if you open the book settings after step two, every setting will match with those of the custom template fromCollection 24
.
Note: If you create a second collection with custom templates. Adding new books in the organization (not in one of the collection) will still have the same settings as the first collection templates.
Expected behavior
The books which are not part of the collection, should have the same default settings with the organization they belong to.
QA steps to confirm this is fixed
- Create an organisation with a collection template that has different settings to the default Org settings
- Create a book in the organisation but don't put it into the collection
- Go to the book settings and see that they match the default Org settings, and not the collection template settings. The books which are not part of the collection, should have the same default settings with the organization they belong to.
