Incorrect status for published book: status says 'Previewing' but should say 'Published'
Expected behaviour
Books that do not require Org admin or Editor approval for publishing get auto-published, and their status changes to 'Publishing'
Current behaviour
Books that do not require Org admin or Editor approval for publishing get auto-published, but their status is stuck on 'Previewing'
Steps to reproduce
- Create a book that does not require Org admin or editor approval for publishing
- Add chapters and submit them
- Wait for chapters to convert and make sure there are no errors in the file (for devs: confirm on back-end that it has actually been published first)
- See the top-right status that incorrectly says 'Previewing' and not 'Published'
Screenshot of incorrect status below. Example is from an XML wholebook.

NCBI's priority feedback
Y, for migration and deployment - all of our statuses are incorrect on migrated site for this setting. Reproduced issue there too - is causing issues testing release checks too.
QA Steps
This settings can only be changed for Wholebooks.
- Create an XML Wholebook
- On the second step turn off the toggle for publishing requiring approval
- Submit files which will have a successful preview, it should automatically go to publishing.
Alternatively you can edit this setting on an existing book which has a successful preview. The same example reported as not working. Turn off the 'Require approval' toggle and then reload preview.
This time the file will go automatically to publishing.
