Progress review agenda 18 May
Here is our update. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to discuss today.
-
Epics review for priority dev
- I have reviewed the Epics that are essential to processing the content in all workflows (&5 (closed); &21; &12, &13, &14) against the development done so far.
- The aim was to get a breakdown of where the difference are between the workflows and understand how the current code can be aligned, where possible, while the remaining features are developed.
- The result is this 'priority development overview' that we walked-through last week.
-
Queries/Unresolved items on Priority dev
- Now that we've established that the step "send to conversion" should be separated from the step "upload book/book component files" in the UI, users will able to upload more than one file version before send to conversion. Is this case, should the existing file version be overwritten? (I will demo this is the call)
- From the related issues currently being scoped (here):
- #435 (closed) and #481 (closed) are with us to review and provide feedback
- #403 (closed), #475 (closed) are resolved (I'll summaries agreements and close)
- #478 (closed): Let's discuss the remaining comments on file naming specs in the call. (We'll propose search by title and BCMS separately)
- #404 (closed): For the chapter-processing scenario we need to rethink where any additional source files (besides the actual file for conversion) is uploaded because we match file version by filename. (I can demo in the call to explain further)
Where there are no queries, our team is estimating this dev today so we can start with what's clear.
