Layouts using ordered lists are not breaking properly in Firefox
Our photo gallery page layouts use ordered lists and are not being split across pages properly in Firefox.
Some unordered lists in other areas of the document are breaking as expected, but in the photo gallery we apply custom CSS to them that may be causing problems.
Here's a pen that shows the behavior: https://codepen.io/29thfloor/pen/gOwPNQd
We're actually getting a Javascript error in our environment that is preventing the page from even loading. I can't seem to reproduce that in codepen, but you can see it's not breaking properly compared to Chrome.
In our environment, the error is triggered once the second .appendix
element is added. The code seems to successfully parse the first appendix (even though it's not displaying properly) and then fails because it takes another list
object that has no children.
I have a breakpoint set on that code and it seems to get to the last set of elements in the first appendix and then throws this error. "TypeError: list.firstElementChild is null".
Any idea what might be causing that error?
