Orphans and widows not working
The status of the support for the widows
and orphans
CSS properties is confusing.
-
This post by
@julien
states they are supported. -
The documentation implicitly suggest they are supported. For example, Paged Media approaches : page floats refers twice to widow and orphans. So does How Paged.js works when it reads:
To do so, we use the mighty CSS columns properties: each page is a column. This offers us an easy access to some of the properties already implemented in browsers, such as column-breaks, element(), or widows and orphans.

However, in Support of specifications (wiki) both properties are set to
no
(not sure to what does actually thoseno
refer):
I have set up this test case in Codepen, when the widows
and orphans
seem to be ignored by Paged.js
.
Is there any way to make these properties work?
