Adding text to the right of a tracked change extends the change
When a user adds text to the right of a tracked insertion or deletion, it gets added to the tracked insertion or deletion, even when the editor is not recording changes.
To reproduce:
- Set the editor to record changes
- Make a tracked insertion or deletion
- Turn track changes off (stop recording changes)
- Move the cursor to the end of the tracked change
- Add new text
Expected: the new text should appear as normal, un-tracked text, since the editor's not recording changes anymore.
Actual: the text becomes part of the tracked changed, as a struck-through deletion or a blue insertion.
This does not happen when you add text at the beginning of a tracked insertion or deletion (left-hand side), just at the end.
